Client Portal

Digital sourcing visibility for apparel production

Ethostex Global is developing a digital sourcing platform to help fashion brands manage knitwear production with better visibility, clearer records, and more organized communication. The portal is being built to support orders, samples, quotations, approvals, QC reports, supplier documents, certification records, shipment progress, and buyer communication in one structured workflow.

Portal Direction

A structured workflow for sourcing visibility

In apparel sourcing, many problems happen because information is spread across emails, WhatsApp messages, spreadsheets, sample photos, and different file versions. Our goal is to reduce that confusion by creating a more transparent way for clients to follow their sourcing process from product brief to final shipment.

The Ethostex Client Portal is designed around the real needs of fashion buyers. Brands do not only need occasional updates. They need to know what has been approved, what is pending, what needs attention, which supplier documents are available, how sampling is moving, and whether production is on track.

The platform is being developed to bring important sourcing information into one place, so clients can review order progress, sample status, supplier records, QC reports, shipment updates, and communication history without losing track of important details.

Why We Are Building It

Sourcing should not depend on scattered updates

Traditional apparel sourcing often depends on too many disconnected communication channels. A buyer may receive a sample comment in one message, a quotation in another file, a supplier update on WhatsApp, a QC photo by email, and a shipment document somewhere else. This makes it harder to know which information is current and which action is still pending.

For knitwear production, this can create real risk. Fabric approvals, GSM details, trims, measurements, sample comments, lab dips, supplier documents, packing instructions, and shipment records all need to stay aligned. When these details are not organized, mistakes can move into bulk production.

Ethostex Global is building the Client Portal to make sourcing easier to follow, easier to document, and easier to control for brands sourcing knitwear from Pakistan.

Portal Features

What the portal is being built to support

The Client Portal is planned as a buyer-facing workspace where key sourcing information can be organized around each order, supplier, sample, approval, QC report, and shipment stage.

Order tracking

Clients will be able to follow active orders, product details, current production stage, progress updates, estimated timelines, and important next actions.

Sample approvals

The portal will support sample records, comments, approval status, revised samples, reference photos, fit feedback, and approval history.

Quotation management

Clients will be able to review quotations, product cost details, buyer feedback, revision requests, and approval status in a more organized way.

QC reports

Inspection records, measurement checks, defect notes, production photos, packing checks, and final QC summaries can be shared with better visibility.

Supplier scorecards

Supplier performance can be tracked through quality feedback, communication, delivery reliability, documentation readiness, strengths, and risk notes.

Certification tracker

Where available, supplier certifications, audit documents, compliance files, expiry dates, and buyer-required documentation can be organized for review.

Document control

Tech packs, reference images, sample comments, supplier documents, QC reports, packing files, invoices, and shipment documents can be managed in one place.

Shipment updates

Clients will be able to follow packing status, shipment preparation, document readiness, dispatch updates, and final shipment progress.

Client communication

Buyer messages, supplier updates, order notes, approval requests, and important decisions can be connected directly to the relevant order or sample.

Buyer Dashboard

A clearer view of every active order

The buyer dashboard is planned to give clients a quick overview of what matters most. Instead of searching through long message threads, clients should be able to see which orders are active, which samples need approval, which QC reports are available, which documents are pending, and which shipments need attention.

Active orders

A simple view of current orders, product categories, order stage, progress, and expected next steps.

Pending approvals

A focused area for samples, quotations, lab dips, trims, QC reports, documents, or shipment details waiting for buyer approval.

Recent updates

A timeline of important changes, production milestones, supplier updates, uploaded documents, and quality notes.

Order risks

A visibility area for delays, missing information, pending documents, supplier issues, or quality concerns that need attention.

Quick actions

Clients will be able to review samples, approve or reject items, open QC reports, upload files, send messages, or check shipment updates.

Sample-to-Shipment Workflow

From product brief to shipment records

The portal is being developed to support the full sourcing journey, not just one part of the order. A product begins with a brief, but the process continues through supplier review, quotation, sampling, approvals, production, inspection, packing, and shipment documentation.

By connecting these stages in one workflow, Ethostex Global aims to give buyers better control over the details that affect quality, timing, and sourcing confidence.

Document records

Better records for responsible sourcing decisions

Responsible sourcing becomes stronger when buyers have access to clearer supplier information and better documentation. The Client Portal is planned to support supplier files, certification visibility where available, compliance document tracking, quality records, and sourcing notes linked to each project.

This does not mean every supplier will have every certification. Certification availability depends on the supplier, product type, order scope, buyer requirement, and documents available at the time of sourcing. The portal is intended to help organize available records so clients can review sourcing information more clearly.

Quality records that stay connected to the order

In knitwear sourcing, quality control should not be separated from the rest of the production process. Sample comments, measurements, inspection reports, defect notes, production photos, packing checks, and approval decisions all need to stay connected to the correct order.

The Ethostex Client Portal is being developed to make these records easier to manage, helping buyers review quality information without depending only on scattered photos or informal updates.

Who It Is For

Built for modern fashion buyers

The Client Portal is being developed for fashion brands, private label companies, sourcing teams, startup brands, and buyers who want a clearer way to manage knitwear sourcing from Pakistan. It is especially useful for brands that need better visibility across sampling, approvals, supplier documents, QC reports, and shipment progress.

Buyer-facing visibility, controlled access

The portal is planned as a client-facing workspace. Buyers will be able to review relevant order information, sample updates, supplier visibility, QC records, documentation, and shipment progress. Internal supplier coordination, sensitive supplier details, internal margins, and private operational notes should remain controlled within Ethostex Global's internal workflow.

Client Workflow

Ethostex Global is building the Client Portal to give fashion brands a clearer view of their knitwear sourcing process. If your brand needs better visibility across orders, samples, approvals, QC reports, supplier documents, and shipment updates, our sourcing workflow is being designed around that need.
